Gameplay and systems direction, licensed-IP alignment, and design-team leadership through the original console and PC production.
The brief
An established FPS property brings a recognizable identity and a set of player expectations. My responsibility was to connect that identity with gameplay and systems direction, while working within the scope and constraints of the PlayMagic production.
What I led
As Lead Designer, I directed internal and external designers and held responsibility for final design quality. I translated direction into reviews, milestone priorities, sprint work, and implementation decisions, alongside interviewing, mentoring, and managing designers.
Working across the project
Client reviews, production coordination, market research, pitches, and high-level forecasts were part of the remit. The engagement continued through the original PlayMagic console and PC release; later revisions by other teams are outside this case study.
Project footage is shown for context. My contribution is described above; the footage was produced by its credited owner.
